Stepping out from the main house into "The Dog Trot" you move from sophistication into a glimpse of the past. This in-between space is a treasure trove for the eyes as you are treated to the original farm house structure. Including an upper summer bedroom, this area not only serves as a historic record, but as a starting and finishing point for hunting parties. It is the original 1890's construction. There is ample space for cleaning guns, muddy boots and storage at the culmination of a successful day in the field. Off the side of the Dog Trot there are two indoor storage rooms.
