Ruffed-Grouse, White-Tailed Deer

BUSH: Partridge and turkey shoots are great and make a wonderful day in the bush. A private lodge or shooting club organized on this property will provide good hunts every weekend of the hunting season for two to four guns.

MARSH: Twenty acres of wetlands on the river allow duck shooting limits for a least four guns for the first two and possibly three weekends of the season. There are large flock opportunities during the fall until the freeze-up in mid November.

RUNWAYS: South of the river are meadows, forest openings and edges of swamp: all heavily travelled by the local deer population and excellent shooting opportunities for bucks from three well-placed deer stands. At least two bucks have been taken in each of the past five years, with unlimited doe opportunities. The northern 81 acres of property has been protected as a deer sanctuary for the past twenty years.
